‘the Swell Mamas would like to dedicate our surf tomorrow to a beautiful friend who loved the ocean and was an AWESOME surfer and had amazing energy and kindness, Ian ‘Rat’ Railton.

He died some years ago, but we havent forgotten him – he’s a Cape Paterson legend of the surf and of the community.

It was his birthday this week and I am sure he would have LOVED to see all the Swell Mamas enjoy the surf, for he loved women and he loved the ocean’.
